Get ready to witness a true legend of the burlesque world as she hits the stage for the 5th annual Kootenay Burlesque Festival
Retiring to Nelson in 1990 after an illustrious 17-year career of international burlesque performances, our next performer didn't slow down. Instead, she began teaching "The Art of Burlesque" in 2002, passing on her passion and expertise to a new generation of dancers.
In 2005, she starred in the very first neo-burlesque show produced by Tamara Morgan at the Queen's Hotel, marking a pivotal moment in the resurgence of the art form and the beginning of the vibrant burlesque scene in Nelson
Her remarkable journey took an exciting turn at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she was honored as the first Canadian Legend of Burlesque by her esteemed peers. This recognition propelled her to new heights, leading to performances across North America, Finland, and New Zealand. She proudly represented Canada and her beloved Nelson, BC, in numerous documentaries, including "League of Exotic Dancers," podcasts, and interviews. She has also been named one of the top 50 performers in the worldwide burlesque community and is thrilled to be headlining the 5th annual Kootenay Burlesque Festival

In her 12th year of burlesque indigenous femme Kitty Kin-Evil is the headmistress of Ottawa Burlesque Academy. Director of Frisque Femme Productions, Producer of "The Rump Revue", the first official chapter of The Original Burlesque Bingo, and Fabricator of Evil Embellishments. Known as " The Superior Posterior" she specializes in classic, comedic burlesque, aerial hoop artistry and showgirl fans.
She's the first performer from Ottawa to be accepted at The Burlesque Hall of Fame weekender, headlined Imperial Burlesque Competition, The Humboldt Burlesque Expo in California, Salt City Burlesque in New York, Esoteric Bazaar in Calgary, featured at Colorado Burlesque Festival, Salt City Burlesque Festival,Vermont Burlesque Festival several years in a row, graced the stages of Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender for 8 years now, performed at The New York Burlesque Festival, The Capital Burlesque Expo, VLV Rockabilly Weekender Burlesque Competition, Isle of tease festival in Victoria, Minneapolis Burlesque Festival, Montreal Burlesque Festival, Edmonton Burlesque Festival, Montreal's Red Hot and Blue Rockabilly Weekend, The Everything To Do With Sex Show and a proud honorary member of Sudbury Burlesque for 11 years

His exceptional talents have earned him accolades, including a first place win for Master of Lip Sync in the World Champion Burlypics in 2020
Marloe's rise in the entertainment world has been swift and remarkable, highlighted by a nationwide broadcast on Shaw cable titled "Becoming Marloe Blu", which resonated deeply with audiences across Canada and solidified his position as a beloved performer
Beyond his captivating performances, Marloe is the creative force behind FABLE, an annual production that epitomizes his artistic vision and commitment to the arts. Heading our way from the vibrant city of San Diego, California, we are thrilled to introduce the captivating Nina bel Vande as our Feature Performer for The Dirty & Nerdy Show
A seasoned performer for over 15 years, Nina bel Vande has graced stages across the United States and Canada, captivating audiences both as a competitor and a guest. Renowned for her classic burlesque style with a twist, she has earned accolades including two nominations for "Outstanding Nightclub Dancer," secured victory as the "Drag Me to Divas" finale winner, received recognition as "Fabulous Entertainer" at Hillcrest Honors, and competed for the crown at the prestigious Exquisite Burlesque Festival crown competition. Contrary to popular belief, @wintersinclair does not come from the North Pole but instead brings a frosty flare of fabulousness to her native sunny San Diego. In a flurry of hair whips and heel clacks she froze together her love of pole dance with classic striptease and made her soloist debut at the end of 2019. Known as "The Real Housewife of Burlesque" Ms Sinclair is no stranger to making temperatures rise. She is a four-time pin-up cover model and has traveled across the US and abroad to perform. As the producer behind the CatHaus Revue Ms Sinclair orchestrates a purr-fectly tantalizing spectacle. She might come across as a bit icy but her frost won't bite unless you ask politely. With Winters arrival, it's not just the season change, it's a climatic event! So settle in and get cozy, Winter is coming
